Monday-ly update.

With all of you CXers braving the elements last Saturday I decided to do the next best most painful thing. So, with apologies to Utrider, I rode for 2 hrs indoors (only 35 miles though). Sorry, but I can't do 90 min of Tempo with threshold intervals thrown in outside this time of year. This gave me as much Training Stress Score as any good outdoor ride would have with no time wasted on coasting.

Sunday was an unusual team ride as B-Horn, M. Cooper, B. Gehrig, and myself decided to break from the usual decorum of starting out by easy socializing and proceeded to hammer away quite early on. It was through sheer coincidence that we later rejoined the rest. I think everyone got what they needed out of that ride.

P.S. Mom, you need to click on the underlined links to fully understand and appreciate my sarcasm. I don't really have naughty thoughts about bicycles unless they're just props in the background.

Oh, sure. You're just trying to explain away the awkward situation you found yourself in when mom caught you in the bathroom looking at the bike catalog.

How could you know about that?! There were women in that catalog.

P-man, you certainly had some really consistent intervals didn't you...it's like you took the protractor to the screen print...

I can't vouch that they will look that good when my 5 min intervals start dipping into the VO2max zone in the spring.
