Still learning (or re-learning).

I forgot to fuel up properly yesterday. It was one of those bike cleaning Mondays and well, I wasn't that hungry. So if you're going to attempt "personal best" rides remember these:

1. Fuel up the day before.
2. Go for a spin the day before.
3. Don't think you're so hot right now you don't need 1 & 2.
4. Don't wait until noon on a mid-July day.
5. Tail winds in a hillclimb do not make one faster, just hotter.
6. Bring your cyclocross legs if you even want to get to Little Cottonwood canyon.

Those 6 points pretty much sum up my first Snowbird experience of the year. I was almost 2 minutes short.
